Weight Loss Swagg

Ask   Share your weight loss!   Pictures   Personal Blog

I have finally decided to document my journey of weight loss! I'm actually a pretty active person. I play rugby and (occasionally) run. Since its the off-season for us ruggers (here at Towson) I wanted to make this blog so that I can continue to get into the great shape I was working towards while playing. I don't weigh myself and haven't in about 9 months but I measure my weight loss by the way my clothes fit. Since I've started rugby I've lost a whole size and I'm very close to being in the next down, 14. The lowest I want to go is an 8. But my ideal would be a 10.

2 days and I miss the gym.

I did 204lbs leg presses, 170lb squats and 100lbs dead lifts.

I feel like such a gym rat.

Rsdnt Fit Bunney: Why the men-hate at the gym? →

weight-a-second:

I’ve seen a ton of passive/not-so-passive aggressive posts (especially lately) by girls being upset over being gawked at/hit on by the boys at their gym.

  1. Unless they touch you, or get inappropriate with sexual remarks, by being so bitchy about it reflects awfully on you as a person.
  2. It IS an…

THANK YOU.

I find it seriously hilarious when girls complain about men at the gym. ‘Cause, in all honestly, when I’m at the gym… I enjoy the view. If I think someone is watching me, I work harder. If someone smiles, I smile back. It is just polite.

^This.

AMEN SISTER. Enjoy the show.

So….life’s been a little hectic.

That’ why I haven’t been updating much.

Had a couple health scares. Still actually in the process of one.

School is kicking my ass as well.

But I’m trying to get myself together.

Good thing is I haven’t gained any weight. All my clothes are still too big which is great. No progress but atleast I’ve been consistent.

And I’ve been back in the gym lately. Which is FANTASTIC and feels so good. Especially since I can’t play rugby the rest of the semester (seriously devastated right now) but next year I will come back a BEAST.

So…that’s my life right now.

Alarm set?
Fitting in a quick workout in the morning can make a huge difference for your fitness. Studies show even 15 minutes of light activity in the morning sets the pace for a more active & productive day.

Note: ONE change often means several. You can”t expect to workout in the morning unless you’re also going to bed earlier. You may also want to tweak your routine somewhat: laying out your workout clothes, prepping breakfast ahead of time, having a game plan BEFORE you go to bed etc.

Nifty idea? What about a fitness alarm clock? This Dumbbell Alarm Clock makes you do 30 reps before the alarm will turn off. Not everyone’s idea of a fab ‘wake-up’ call, but it certainly gets the job done. By the time you hit 30 reps, your body is already WELL on its way to ‘AWAKE’.
